Built for real monitoring sessions

More than a live camera feed

Baby Monitor Smart Remote separates the nursery role from the caregiver role, then gives the paired Parent device control over what is streamed and how the Baby device responds.

Video, audio, or periodic photos

Choose live video, live nursery audio, or a lower-bandwidth photo stream. Video quality ranges from 144p to 1080p with an Auto option, and the photo interval is adjustable from 1 to 60 seconds.

Photos and recordings

Take a still image or record the active visual and audio streams on the Parent device. Audio-only monitoring can be recorded separately. Nothing is exported until the caregiver chooses where to save it.

Walkie-talkie and secure media playback

Talk to the room from Parent Mode or select an audio or video file to send securely for playback on a compatible Baby device.

Remote camera controls

Switch between available mobile cameras or choose a named physical camera on a Mac Baby device. Supported mobile devices can also expose light, screen brightness, focus, and quality controls.

Useful alerts

Authorized Parent devices can receive alerts for detected crying, low Baby-device battery, an unexpected disconnect, and supported mobile-device overheating. Priority behavior still follows each operating system’s notification settings.

On-device Cry Detection

The bundled TensorFlow Lite model analyzes microphone audio on the Baby device. Local learning can adapt detection and can be reset. Detection remains an aid and may miss sounds or produce false alerts.

White Noise on every platform

Eight tracks—White Noise, Soft Rain, Deep Noise, Ocean, Heartbeat, Shhh, Fan, and Lullaby—support playlists, downloads, updates, Auto Mix, Replay, volume, and background media controls.

Audio-focused Night Mode

On Android and iPhone, locking or backgrounding the Baby device can keep the secure connection and cry monitoring ready while video is paused. On Mac, session lock activates native Sleep Mode and unlock restores the visual stream.

Connection choices

Automatic mode tries authenticated Local routes, Router Direct, and then an encrypted Premium relay. Caregivers can also restrict a connection to Local only, Direct only, or Premium only.

Adapts when bandwidth drops

The streamer can reduce video quality and frame rate, then move to periodic photos with live audio when a connection is heavily constrained. It restores video when capacity returns.

End-to-end protection for the monitoring session

Video, photo frames, nursery audio, talk-back, transferred media, and control commands are encrypted between the exact paired devices. Local, router-direct, and relay paths are accepted only after authenticated encrypted communication succeeds.
